Visiting Students

You attend another college or university but wish to enroll in summer classes at NKU.  You can!  As a visiting student, you are offered the convenience and flexibility of taking NKU courses and having the credits transferred back to your home university.

Steps to enroll in summer classes:

  • Apply online as a non-degree visiting student and submit a $40 non-refundable application fee

As a visiting student you should know:

    • Financial aid is not available to non-degree seeking students and visiting students.
    • Your transcripts will not be requested during the application process to NKU, but should you need a specific course or courses to satisfy a prerequisite for the NKU course you will be taking, you will need to be prepared to provide an official transcript to the appropriate academic department chair.

    • Registration opportunities for summer begin April 23, 2012.

    • Tuition due May 7, 2012, for students who register prior to that date. Students who register after May 7, 2012, tuition and fees are due at the time of registration.
